Debbie Wilkinson   butterfly2moi@yahoo.com   Looking forward to seeing everyone again!

Robin (Robertson) Nelson      PrimaD1st@aol.com          Just be sure to take lots of pix for those of us unable to come and tons of details!!!!  I just got an email from Butch (Speer) letting me know you got in touch with him.  Sometimes I wish I lived closer so I could attend some of these get-togethers.  I haven't seen Butch in about 15 years now, and anyone else since our tenth reunion.  Thank God for email! :o)  Have a wonderful time and keep the rest of us informed how it went!  Gregg and I now live in Orlando (can't believe it's been 33 years since we got married...there are hardened criminals who don't do that kind of time!!!).
Calvin Ferrell   sp-929@juno.com      Dallas, I am really putting some pressure on you. I have mutable plans for the 28th, they were in place before I knew of the reunion. I can't break any of them, BUT,. I plan on bugging out around 8:00 o'clock to grt to the PARTY. Please do your best to hold everyone there until I can get there. I WILL BE COMING. i JUST WILL BE A LITTLE LATE.  cALVIN
From Dallas Ballmer   dballmer@cox.net   Jude...Yea…, uh…I can’t think of anything to top the Spiderman suit…or hanging with the girls…but I am working on it...hmmmmm
Jude Lasserre      Jude.Lasserre@ep-solutions.com    Mike , What time are you leaving ? I plan on Friday maybe b4 noon.  Bring your spiderman suit!  Dallas, good thing i don't golf - I can hang with the girls - Ha!
Johnny Cooley   johncly5@aim.com   Good to hear from you. I am sorry but I will not be able to come home this weekend. If I told you how much they were paying me to sit in this office you would understand. I am going to miss seeing all the folks. Please tell everyone hello for me. Give Soileau a big kiss for me. I promise I will drive over end of May and we can go to dinner or something. I will call you on your cell Sat. and I can tell some of them hello. I know everyone thinks of you the way I do. Please stay in touch.
Glen A. Gates   gagates@suddenlink.net   Unfortunately I have a pretty full slate of activities that day that I committed to weeks ago.  I am helping our LAIA group that morning rebuild a elderly couple's home in an old part of town.  I have a crawfish boil at 2:00 that afternoon and have tickets and tux to go to the Jean Lafitte ball that night.  I was going to drop in for a little while on my way to the Civic center.  I would be more than happy to help with the golf but won't be able to play......maybe next time.

Bill Gipson    Bill.H.Gipson@conocophillips.com    I understand the weather is to be good Saturday.  We are really looking forward to the weekend.  Although, we may be dead after two ball games, round of golf, a reunion party, 6-8 hrs of driving, and my Mom's birthday on Sunday.  How's that for a two-day weekend?  And its only Monday!  I'm sure we'll think of something else to pack into this weekend.  As Jimmy Buffett would say, "The weather is Here, Wish you were beautiful".

Lynell and I will be arriving in Lake Charles on Saturday morning.  We BOTH want to play golf, so please have Don make tee times for both of us.  Lynell hits the ball further than me (sometimes) so she can play and keep up.  Please no tee times before 10:00am as we will be driving in from Conroe.  I figure 3 hrs to the course so we will be starting out early Saturday after a late Astros game Friday night.  Got a room at the luxurious Crossland Hotel on Mallard Rd. near the LC Country Club.  If its clean, it should be OK.  Looking forward to meeting you and seeing the guys and girls at the gathering waterhole.  My cell phone is 281-814-6006 should we need to connect.  Please have Don confirm our tee time.

From Michael Bourgeois    mike_b70607@yahoo.com   I have never played golf.. although I do have other equally bad habits..

From Don Soileau   soiledj@hotmail.com   I will get 4 tee time on Monday 4/23.  for Sat. 4/28 we will group up in four per tee time . I will try to get the tee times between 12:00 and 12:30.
If more tee times are needed, please respond by Tuesday 4/24.
Gordon McCool        gormaccorp@sbcglobal.net      (about golf)  Yeah, I’m in.  I haven’t played in about 5 years but I will give it a shot.  My brother (Class of ’69) would like to play, however he has a club foot so he can only wear tennis shoes.  Please let me know if the golf course will allow that?
Clent Landreneau       Clent.Landreneau@Williams.com     (about golf)  I'm game.  It's been a while, but I will give it a whirl.  Just let me know when and where.  Greywood is only about 3 miles from my home.

From Buzzy Leithead  Doctorbuzzy@aol.com I WILL TRY TO ATTEND. I MAY BE IN BATON ROUGE-IF NOT, I WILL BE THERE. I TOLD DON BROUSSARD, BUT HE HAS A WORK FUNCTION TO ATTEND AND I KNOW THAT BILL MCCALL KNOWS ABOUT IT, BUT HE WILL BE OUT OF TOWN. THANKS FOR YOUR HARD WORK ON THE REUNION.

Keith Romero        KRomero@Smith.com        I do not and will not play golf.  I quit when I could not find anyone to beat me.  I shoot in the 150’s. LOL!!  Thanks for the offer, but leave me out.

Don Soileau   soiledj@hotmail.com   Dallas, anyone wanting to play golf on the 28th.  I talked to Greywood pro shop and they wouldn't give me tee times that far in advance until the week of the reunion.  What's your guess on how many players we will have? Let me know before Monday afternoon on the 23rd.

I sent a request this evening to The American Press to help us propagate the announcement of our class gathering April 28th and will keep you informed of any further progress.
KPLC was requested to post our gathering/reunion information on the Breakfast Bar (one week prior to activity).  They say they will post at no charge, any non-profit announcement affecting the community (and we are part of that community).  Our class gathering announcement  has also been added to the KPLC-TV Community Calendar...
Bill Gipson    Bill.H.Gipson@conocophillips.com    Dallas, looks great.  Thanks again for what you are doing.  I'll have to check with the boss for April 28th.  We'll try and make it.  Would love to play golf that morning if its not too early.  We have about a 2 1/2 hr drive to make from Conroe to LC.  We are big Astros fans and will be at the game Friday night.  Would enjoy meeting you and catching up with friends on Saturday.  Missed the last reunion, so it would be a great opportunity to see everyone.  Let us know about the golf, when and where.  Thanks

Debbie Andrepont Vickery    db4c1g@charter.net    Any place sounds good to me.  I have to re-familiarize myself with places in Lake Charles to know of good places to go.  Just send me an email and I'll be there…I think the dj would be a great idea, that way there would  be the variety of music that everybody would enjoy...Debbie

Wanda Borel Nelson              w_borel@bellsouth.net     Keep up the good work!  Some of our class members have or have had bands and might be able to pull something together, which would be fun and personal. One of my favorite quotes below (which is why we appreciate folks like you even more when our lives stay too busy)-- thank Heaven my family and friends (close and extended such as classmates) are dancing as fast as they can, too, and all understand when we actually have to MAKE time to share a visit!  Wish I was a friend of mine, I'd take me off the shelf and play a while.... when I had time. …thanks, Dallas... you are doing a great job!
Ray Bowman         RBOWMAN@citgo.com     Sounds good, Dallas! Looking forward to it. I don’t know what they would do without us! Hope they don’t have to find out! HA!!!   RAY
Joel Castello             jcast906@aol.com       Dallas: thanks for contacting me about the get together.  I would be there, but when Brenda called, I checked my calendar, and I have a prior commitment with daughter and grandson that weekend

Johnny Cooley           johncly5@aim.com         Sounds good to me. I will be there after 7:00 anyway. DJ sounds good to me. Thanks for the work you are doing to put this together. Hope to see you there.  I like the DJ best. Carolyn and I will be there. We will leave the skeet shoot and drive to Lake Charles. Looking forward to seeing you. Thank You for what you are doing. You are truly a good friend. Stay in touch.

Calvin Ferrell   sp-929@juno.com        I am the first to say that I totally agree with you handling this affair. It sounds good to have a DJ, because they usually have a large collection of 60,70 80 music to play. They also have the capability of playing requests. So, I say go with the DJ, and 7:00 o’clock sounds good to. If you need any foot work please call me.  Calvin

Lottie Rice Courvelle              lcourvelle@ppg.com           I work with several graduates here at PPG and I will let them know.  Are we also putting the word out to '71 graduates as well?   My plans, right now, are to attend.  See you then.  Lottie

Brenda Freund        Brenda.Freund@fortbend.k12.tx.us  I spoke with Becky and David, and Janice and I have started emailing one another.  Becky and David live in Texas, and Janice lives in Oklahoma.  Looking forward to talking with you soon!    Thanks again for everything you are doing!  ( And thank your wife, because you are spending time doing this!)    Brenda

Clent Landreneau       Clent.Landreneau@Williams.com      I'm fine with the time change and I think the DJ would probably have a huge variety of songs from the late 60's and 70's which we all loved.  Those were the best of times for good old rock and roll.

Jude Lasserre         Jude.Lasserre@ep-solutions.com        What a mouthful ! You been busy eh?  Thank you for doing this, after all you are redispensable, no that's indispensable. Brenda you can grade me on that.  I like the DJ idea allot - Less space taken up and , well - to be honest - allot of us Leftover's (that is a pun, we changed the name to Rainy Day Roadshow later) musicians will of course try to take over a band, we're just too stage happy. Ah, the days of The Demonic Five, Blue Gin, Puckett's Mattrice Company The Leftovers* and others.  I am coming in on Friday as well , prob. stay at the Motel Hotel 8 - (the Green Frog)

Susie LeJune          Susie_LeJune@kindermorgan.com    I will certainly plan on it.  I can do that weekend so far.

Diane Godwin Lockwood      dlgod@cox.net          I’m still trying to get in touch with a couple of more people that I think might like to come.  I hope there will be a really good turnout!!  Thanks so much for keeping us updated!!!  I am SO looking forward to this!

Gordon McCool        gormaccorp@sbcglobal.net         I hope we can keep the gathering on April 28 as I have arranged for family from Florida to meet me in Lake Charles on that weekend based on the last email.  Preferably in Lake Charles or nearby.

Joann McMillan     joannmcmillan@hotmail.com       You are wonderful to do all of this, so far my schedule has not opened up to allow me to come, but in case it does, a really great DJ with our oldies and variety…I can usually still make it until midnight when love is in the air, so starting at 7 sounds fine and the place sounds lovely.  Thanks for being such a trooper!  Joann

Robin (Robertson) Nelson      PrimaD1st@aol.com          Is this some kind of 37th reunion???  And who/what is Coolers?  It's been ages since I've been back to Lake Charles and I'm lost!!!!!   Any info would be appreciated!

Nancy Gilley Rogers        gerilla@suddenlink.net           I know that the local Parrot Head Chapter is having a crawfish boil early in the afternoon on 4/28 at Cooler's, but that will be out front on the deck.  I know this because I'm a club member.  We should be finished and away by late that afternoon.  Unfortunately for me, I've already accepted an invitation to attend the Jean LaFitte Ball later that evening. so it's doubtful that I make The Gathering (or possibly for just a very little while).

Keith Romero        KRomero@Smith.com        Thank you for the e-mail, Dallas.  It must be nice to retire so early!

Rusty Rushton       RustyRush@aol.com          Being able to turn the music DOWN is a plus.  Making the trip to miss conversation would be a disappointment and loss of precious time.  I can listen to loud music in my kids room...thanks again for all the effort.  It looks like you are bearing fruit from your efforts.  Good job… friends always, rr

Sandy Schellack Lobdell        BonnieKate@aol.com    The webpage is great!  Thank you so much for doing this. It is a wonderful way to keep in touch with old friends.  Thanks so much for all the info. We have been trying to work out a way to get there, but it doesn't look like it is going to happen. Bummer. Please tell everyone hi for me there and be sure to tell me what plans you make for another get-together!

Imogene Baker Konvalinka    imokon@bellsouth.net     I will be unable to attend your gathering--I have a wedding that weekend.  Hope y’all have fun. Imogene

Don Soileau      soiledj@hotmail.com     Lake Charles  at "Coolers" on Ryan St. sounds good to me.  As we near the end of April we can discuss what we  can do during the day.  How about a round of golf in the afternoon to kill some time and work up a thirst for later.  I'm sure we have a lot of golfers in the group now.

Mary “Beth” Faulk Stack       YoMo1028@aol.com    you are welcomed to have the reunion at my house in Opelousas...plenty of space ... it is a suggestion...

Wendell Stephens      WSTEP2725@aol.com     This sounds great .    I will be back in touch soon.  I hope I read it right.   April 28.     Later Dallas.   Thanks

Mary Kimball Stokes         mstokes@watchfox.com        A DJ would be OK because of the issue of space.  It still sounds like a lot of fun.  People like Coolers because of the NO SMOKING.  7:00 sounds OK…People could meet and eat beforehand and eliminate the need for munchies….could always go to Casa and start the BUZZ!  …So everyone dye your hair and eat salads for the next few weeks…maybe then we could recognize each other!!!!  TIP #1…Grey beards do not make you look younger!!! I will let Bill McCall and Buzzy Leithead know of the gathering.  I’m working on getting my old buddies together also.  Later, Mary

Debra Duplechain Thompson    debbumom@hotmail.com      all this sounds like a great plan. I love the idea of dancing with a DJ spinning our old tunes from the 60's and 70's and each person bringing snacks for all to share. Thanks for all your hard work!   Debra

Debbie Andrepont Vickery    db4c1g@charter.net           I think the dj would be a great idea, that way there would  be the variety of music that everybody would enjoy.

Vaundina Green Ward            vaundina@cebridge.net         Can't we find someplace that  has both food and drink and outside accommodations? A place where we can start earlier that 7PM. I am planning on coming into town for this event but am not one to stay out late. Just a thought.  I haven't been to LC in a while so really don't have any idea what is available.  A crawfish boil would be great.   Vaundina
Bobby Taylor Yellott       turtle_lady_8@yahoo.com       To be honest, I'm not real excited about the Coolers suggestion.  I hope we can find a different venue - a park was suggested, if the weather cooperates. However, I will continue to pass on the information to others in the class.  I do not have e-mail addresses, but I do have mailing addresses for David Wallace, Mike Cormier, Bill McCall, and Nathan Bray, so I've made print copies of your message and will mail one to each of them.
