Duane Joseph Brassette (Angelia David) I married the former Angelia David (LaGrange Class of '71). We have three daughters; Agatha, (13), Amy (10), and Alica (7). We live within walking distance of Immaculate Conception School where all three daughters attend school. In 1977, I founded Brassette Tree Service and work as an arborist in the Lake Charles area. In order to maximize efficiency in the tree service, several years ago I began to work on the development of a new concept truck body called the Helferstout. It is a remote-controlled dump truck body with an on-board crane for lifting loads onto the truck bed. This invention was named the "Best Invention in 1988" by Louisiana Life magazine. Now that all 21 of the patent claims have come through, I am working toward making this innovation pay by licensing the technology or manufacturing the product; meanwhile, we are continuing with the operation of the tree service. 1743 Elms Street Last updated from 20th Reunion |
