David Richard Wallace (Darleen Ackel) Played college basketball starting 3 years for McNeese 1972 - 1974. Scholastic All American, 1972. Attended LSU Medical School 1976 - 1980. Residency LSU 1981 - 1983. Presently practice medicine - pediatrician - Children's Clinic SWLA, 1983 to present. Married to Darleen Ackel of Sulphur (1976). Three children: Lindsey (8), David, Jr., (6), and John Michael, (2).
